Being able to provide high quality products to our customers is something we pride ourselves in here at Oiler and Boiler – and with great products comes great responsibility!
That’s why we’ve decided to give all you loyal O&B fans an insight into the kind of work that goes behind the brand!
Believe it or not, we design our products ourselves here in the UK and then send them off to a specialised factory over in Portugal to turn our ideas into a reality. Of course, we wouldn’t want to work with anyone who doesn’t have the same values as we do, so you’ll be pleased to know all our suppliers work in a fair and environmentally friendly environment.
We are members of the ETI code of conduct (Ethical Trade Initiative) and without boring you and getting too technical, this basically means we follow the international conventions of labour practice. So, you already know we won’t be caught up in any labour scandals.
The environment is an important matter for us here at O&B, so we make sure that we reduce any impact we may have on the environment as much as we can. That’s why we use environmentally friendly packaging and materials.
Our new season is due to land very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. But in the meantime, enjoy the above slideshow of it being processed in the factory.
The day of love is finally here! Of course, we’re talking about Valentine’s Day!
We couldn’t think of a better way to spread the love on this special day than to dedicate this blog post to everyone’s favourite show of the summer – Love Island! That's why we’ve made a list of some of the love islanders who have been spotted wearing our swimwear!
Talk about #throwback!
Jordan Ring opting for a simple mint green look to compliment his many tattoos. Smart thinking, we wouldn't want them to clash now.
Max Morely pairing our prints with a fitted plain shirt... what a classic!
P.S. You should also check out our previous blog post on how to pair your patterns if you haven't already.
Live like Omar Sultani and show off your body with some bold coloured shorts!
Are you tired of eating eggs in the morning just to get your daily dose of protein? Well never fear, O&B are here! We understand the struggle of eating the same foods everyday… it gets very boring very quickly. That’s why we’ve finally decided enough is enough and have found some high-in-protein pancake recipes to make breakfast just that little bit tastier – especially with Shrove Tuesday right around the corner!
1. Banana Protein Pancakes
Ingredients (serves 8):
2 scoops vanilla protein powder (20g each)
1 large very ripe banana
⅛ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
2. Coconut Chia Protein Pancakes
Ingredients (serves 2):
¼ cup gluten free all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. coconut flour
3 tbsp. vanilla protein powder
½ tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. coconut flakes
4 tbsp. almond milk
3. Chocolate Protein Pancakes
Ingredients (10 pancakes):
4 large eggs
2 fresh bananas
¾ cup old fashioned oats
¼ cup chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
If you’re feeling a bit on the lazy side, you could just buy a protein pancake mix, but where's the fun in that? It's also a lot healthier when you cook... just sayin'.

The trend that’s made a comeback!
Short shorts – the look most men desire for their trip in the sun. The look that will reveal just enough skin to show off your pecks but also keep you covered. The look that will leave you feeling like the style king!
It’s undoubtable that this trend has increasingly proven to be the style of the summer in most recent years, but where did it come from?
Well, up until the early 20th century, men’s swimwear tended to be one-piece costumes – it used to be illegal for men to appear topless in public.
But when the law changed in the 1930s, men started strutting their stuff on the beach in swimwear that we now call swimming trunks or shorts. Although there have been different variations of the shorts over the decades (like speedos and boardshorts), we’ve somehow found our way back to the beloved short shorts and this time we think it’s here to stay!
Imagine you and the boys rocking up to San Antonio beach in Ibiza in these bad boys… #goals
Here at O&B, we’ve created a list of celebs who we think have helped to bring back the look of the short shorts and made it look trendier than ever before! Cue slideshow.

Beach to Bar - How to style up your O&B's
It’s true, every summer sees a number of outrageous style crimes committed on our seashores. It seems as though when going from beach to bar, good sartorial fashion sense somehow finds itself perilously lost at sea. But are swim short’s supposed to worn to the bar? We think so – all our swimwear has been designed to be adaptable, our swimwear is made in a peach feel quick dry fabric so they’re suitable for heading straight out to lunch or the bar. That said, there are styles that are best left in the locker once you towel off for the day. Anything too skimpy or with colours bright enough to blind your fellow holidaymakers won’t translate from beach to bar easily.
To make things easier, O&B have put together their staple summer outfits, so you can go from sand to cerveza without having to change your swimwear!
